Our monthly “Talk Story” Zoom sessions are a fun way to reconnect with classmates from across the time zones. If you haven’t received emails about these informal meet-ups and want to join, contact Dean Yoshida at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We would like every ’72 voyager to come to this milestone reunion! The Kokua72 Project will lend a hand to our fellow classmates who might find it challenging to attend.
Sponsorship can be made in the form of an extra registration ticket for the Friday Sunset Reception or Saturday Luau. These will be available when you register for your activities through the Punahou Shopify link or using the mail-in form. For example, under Luau tickets, in addition to purchasing one’s own tickets, there will be a “sponsor a classmate” line. Other possible forms of assistance could include a housing share board, or donations of airline or hotel points.
This will confidential as much as possible. We will need to work with the hotels and airlines in transfer of awards points. An individual can nominate someone they feel can benefit from this program, or one can self-nominate, with an optional reference. The Kokua72 committee will match gifts with recipients. If there are more recipients than sponsorships, designations will be by random selection.
Please email the Kokua72 committee in confidence, if you would like to nominate someone or yourself as a recipient, including all known contact emails and phone numbers. If you would like to be a sponsor, please list what you are offering, be it airline/hotel points, or lodging you are willing to share. Also please let the committee know if you have a recipient in mind, or the committee will select someone for you.
